SELECT WORKS FROM BIRDS OF PARADISE SERIES AT THE BRAZILIAN CARNAVAL

Brazilian Carnaval 2009, the largest Carnaval Party on the West Coast, is returning to its original location of the Hollywood Palladium after twenty years, and preparations are underway to create the most extravagant celebration of Brazilian dance, music, art and culture to date. Miller’s new works, which celebrate the raw power and evocative exuberance of sambistas (Samba dancers), will serve as aesthetic action-shots for the festivities throughout the venue, including large-scale projection behind the main stage.
